Giving Back to Linda
Donation protected
Linda Mickelson has spent a life in the service of others. From the time she was a young girl until the present she has always looked after others. Whether it was caring for a sibling, comforting a child, or calling on a neighbor, she has always put others first. This life of service has not come without cost, however. Linda lost her loving husband seven years ago and has worked twice as hard to fill the financial gap left behind. Things have been tough but in Linda’s eyes, that’s how life can be and you press forward. Unfortunately, her attention to the welfare of others has come at the expense of her own health and welfare. She was recently diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff in her right arm and will have to have shoulder replacement. As was mentioned, it is her heart that sets her apart in this world; however, it is now her heart that is slowing her down. In addition to her shoulder problems she has been diagnosed with heart problems and will have to first have corrective surgery before any other procedures can be performed.
On Feb. 6th, 2015 she was taken to Portneuf Medical Center by life flight. After tests were performed they found that she had suffered a minor heart attack. She is no longer allowed to work and has very limited income as a result. Between medical bills and dwindling income, the reality is weighing heavy on her mind. The hopes of disability payments are possible, but not guaranteed. It is for this reason that we as friends and family are seeking help for this wonderful woman to aid in her expenses and to give back to someone who has already given so much of herself. If you find that you are in a situation to help Linda, your charity will forever be appreciated.
