Hello!

My name is Lyra, and I live in Columbus, OH. I've lived in this apartment for a few months now, and we've been doing pretty well for a while.

Then I realized that I wasn't able to work, due to a myriad of mental illnesses. Until this point, I had been living off of savings from birthday money, but now I'm almost out.

On top of that, I need to take care of my cat, Milo. We found her in a Kroger parking lot, and she has been helping me with my depression. If I didn't have her, I don't know what I'd do. Unfortunately, if I don't have an apartment, I can't take care of her.

I am currently in the process of applying for disability payments, because, as I said, I can't work. Who knows how long that will take?

What I need is enough money to pay vet bills and rent until I can get on disability. Any money I have leftover from this once I'm financially stable will be donated to a local no-kill shelter.
