Building African American Males

Donation protected
Building African American Males (BAAM) is a not for profit organization started to enrich the lives of minority males started by Carlton Goode, Geno Johnson, Jermaine Simmons and Chris Young. The mission of the BAAM program is to help minority male students as they seek to recognize and improve their talents, leadership qualities, and reach their full academic potential through positive reinforcement.

One of the things that we see now is the baggy pants hanging off the buttocks, adding to the negative stereotypes of our young men. We have also noticed our young African American Males lacking social and soft skills such as dining etiquette, proper introductions and the drive to success. We cannot get mad if our young men never receive the necessary guidance and the appropriate information about self-respect. This is where we need your help. Please join us in offering our young men tools to counter the accepted norm and stereotypes. We are asking you to donate anything from $5.00 to $100.00 to this cause.

Your charitable donation will support the the class for men of color at Shawt, the purchase of shoe polish, shoe brushes, shoe rags, ties, bow ties, and proper dining etiquette utensils. With your help BAAM will continue this effort throughout the year going to minority high schools and colleges across the country giving these invaluable tools to our young men.
