We received the news yesterday, her latest scan was bad. Tumors have multiplied and the doctor said the words no one wants to hear; "we have done all that we can" They did not give a time limit, but from the looks on the faces of those in the office, it won't be long. It could be a day, or it could be 3 months.
I have always been a hard worker, working 52 to 60 hours a week. Cancer is an expensive disease.
I have always been a proud man, one who would rather give than receive. I feel selfish for asking, knowing that there are many in need.
My goal is to raise enough money so that I may stay with my wife until the end.
