Medical Fund

Hi! My name is Jo Wesolowski. I have been living with a disability for the past two years, and I am about to start my third year. The disability is called bladder impairment, and the condition I have been diagnosed with is called overactive bladder. Essentially, I experience high frequency and urgency to go to the bathroom throughout the day, and I have yet to find a treatment that will effectively reduce the symptoms. In other words, my body is in chronic pain, and I rarely experience moments of relief or reprieve from the condition.

I am currently in physical therapy and pursuing treatments suggested by my urologist. Still, insurance is not covering these expenses to an amount that allows me to be financially stable and has outright denied me treatments that could be beneficial to reducing symptoms. I am starting to accrue medical debt and since my condition is triggered by stress, not being able to pay off my bills contributes to it.

I am looking to raise $5,000 to use exclusively for my medical bills. This fund would cover the cost of physical therapy for this year and next. It would also cover PTNS, a treatment which could potentially regulate my nervous system and get me back to normal which I've been denied coverage for twice by my insurance. It would also cover any future medical expenses I will most likely have to take on in the form of tests, medicines, and procedures to discover the root of my disability and heal from it.
