Welcome to this fundraising page for Darren Tyrrell, my closest friend and brother.

Unfortunately he was diagnosed in late 2014 having late stage 4 incurable cancer and is currently having chemotherapy.

This page and its purpose is the brain child of some of his closest friends who have decided that rather than solely raise money for charities such as the Royal Marsden and Marie Curie, they would also like to raise money for him directly.

The idea being that the funds raised could help him cross some items off his bucket list and help him achieve some of his goals in life.

Sometimes we can focus so much on the illness that we forget that there is a life behind it and that, as with all of us, there are dreams to be lived. Your generosity will help him achieve some of his goals and to enjoy his life.

The fact that you are reading this means that in some way you would like to help him achieve some of his dreams for which I thank you.
