Did you know, in North Carolina 35% of hungry families have had to choose between paying for food and paying for their rent/mortgage (The Food Effect, 2014)? Students in the Cedar Ridge High School International Baccalaureate program aims to help ease that burden once a month by preparing 100 meals for people in our community that need it. The coordinators help to fundraise, plan meals, and buy food and we have 7 regular volunteers who help us cook and serve the food. We love to help our community, but we need your help. We need help raising funds to be able to continue this amazing program. Thank you for your support and helping us fight hunger 100 meals at time.
