Earlier this year, in January, at the start of the Spring 2025 semester, our friend Ricardo Gonzalez (Ricky) faced a sudden and life-threatening brain hemorrhage during a training in a gym. Family, Friends, and Strangers came together and raised over 70,000$ to help cover the costs of extra emergency care, the hospital stay, and initial rehabilitation.

Thanks to their generosity and Ricky's will, he is out of critical condition and home. Although much progress has been made the journey isn’t over. We ask for the support of our family, friends, and community to provide Ricky the resources to recover and return to his education, sports and independent life.

Ricky’s path to success involves daily Speech Therapy, Physical therapy, Occupational therapy, Neuropsychology Therapy, Aquatic Therapy and specialized equipment. These therapies are not covered by insurance, and costs are mounting fast. This fundraiser is dedicated to the ongoing therapies that give Ricky a chance to regain his independence.
