This week I learned one of my closest friends, Kenny Capps, was disgnosed with Multiple myeloma, a rare form of bone marrow cancer. Upon revealing the news, Kenny, his wife Murphy, and family sent out a call for donations to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation to fund research for a cure. My wife suggested I use my upcoming Mount Mitchell Challenge run as a fundraising effort, so we decided to go for it!

This campaign is not exclusive to my run, so I challenge all participants to share with their networks to see how much money we can donate to the the MMRF in the Capps' family name. Please join me in a collaborative fundraising effort to outrun cancer for Kenny!
