Tragically, on Saturday, March 16th, 2024, a reckless driver ran a red light, striking Kelly, my sister-in-law's vehicle while taking my niece, Iezabetta, and her best friend, Kellsie to work. Despite efforts, Kellsie passed away on the way to the hospital. Meanwhile, Iezabetta suffered severe injuries including a concussion, six broken ribs, a punctured lung, lacerations to her liver and spleen, a fractured jaw, a sprained ankle, missing teeth, as well as various scrapes and bruises. Kelly, sustained injuries too, including four fractured vertebrae, two broken ribs, and a concussion, rendering her bedridden. In the wake of this life-altering tragedy, my brother Wes, has remained steadfast by his daughter's side in the hospital, while his wife also requires care, leaving their income suddenly halted.
