Support John Doc's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Ronan O'Doherty and our family and friends are raising money on behalf of my brother John (Doc) O’Doherty, who has recently been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer.

John has lived in the United States full-time since 1994, working in the construction & hospitality industries around the Brighton & greater Boston area.

John is being treated by the fantastic oncology staff at Boston Medical Center and has already started his chemotherapy treatments.

As you can imagine, the days after treatment are challenging, leaving him unable to work. As the sessions progress, we envisage the recovery periods being longer & longer, leaving those days available to work to support himself, few & far between.

We hope to be able to provide John with enough funding to allow him to focus on his treatment & more importantly, his recovery, without having to force himself out to work while ill.
