Helping Hands for Hudson
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Ryan and I would like to share a story with you. I have a nephew who is epileptic. For those of you unfamiliar with how detrimental epilepsy can be for both the afflicted and the family, I suggest reading this article from the Epilepsy Foundation. This boy has been put through the entire ringer and is still standing. Hudson had his birthday just a few weeks back and has officially become a teenager. This sweet boy requires 24-hours a day attention because of his condition and both parents also require full-time jobs. Gotta pay the bills somehow. His seizures are pretty much random and unpredictable. He has 3 wonderful little brothers and 1 wonderful little sister. He has had an extremely rough life both physically and mentally. He has been having grand-mal seizures since the age of ~3 and has tried all sorts of different medications, surgery, diet changes...you name it; the family has likely tried it. They are at a point of near desperation with the situation. If you can find it in your heart, please try and help the family in any way you can. Whether it be advice, tips or tricks, cash, suggestions on therapy or techniques...these are just a few examples, but anything you may be able to think of or contribute to try and help this sweet boy would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thank you all very much for your consideration and taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a great day.
Thanks.
