Pontifical Mass - Purple Vestments

Worthy celebration of Holy Mass deserves the best we can provide.  

That means "Beautiful vestments!"

The Tridentine Mass Society of Madison [501(c)(3)] is dedicated to broaden the use of the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite in accord with the liturgical vision of Benedict XVI as expressed in 'Summorum Pontificum", and in unity with Madison's Bishop Robert C. Morlino.

We need a Pontifical set in purple that can be used by the bishop not only during Advent and Lent, but also for Vigils and Votive Masses and other occasions. 

A Pontifical Set has:

- Chasuble with stole, maniple, burse, veil
- Four dalmatics with 1 stole and 2 maniples. (They might squeeze extra stoles from the fabric.)
- Humeral veil
- Cope and stole
- Antependium
- Gremial
- Fabric and trim for tabernacle veil.

This set will be of purple silk with gold trim.  It will be austere but beautiful.  

This set can also be used for Solemn Masses, with priest, deacon and subdeacon.  I believe this will be the only full set of Roman vestments in the diocese. We will also be able to make them available to other local parishes where the Extraordinary Form is offered.
