On April 16th 2016 Timothy Goodling kissed his wife and three kid’s goodbye before heading off to work. Little did he know less than 1/2 a mile from his home, that his life would change.

His wife Nikki was sitting on the porch when she heard a crash near her house. She somehow knew it was her husband in trouble. Nikki didn't see this accident but she dropped everything and took off running toward the sound that shattered her heart. Half way there she realized, it was Tim.

Tim was t-boned on his way to work by a car going way over the speed limit. (the van is pictured below).

He was rushed to Onslow Memorial and from there he was flown to Wilmington.

His wife Nikki went home, packed up their three babies and then headed to Wilmington to be with her husband. When she arrived, she was informed that Tim suffered from a collapsed lung with two holes in it. He had a drainage tube in place to drain the fluid and blood building up in his lung as well. Tim also suffered with internal bleeding, a lacerated spleen, and every rib on his right side broken as well as 2 broken ribs on the left side.

Tim is still in the hospital with not only his loving wife, but his loving family by his side.

During his hospital stay, him and his wife will both be out of work for a while. Their family vehicle is now totaled. They didn't ask for this go fund me page, we as friends want to help them in any way that we can.

Your donations will go to the family to help with their child care during this time, medical bills, cost of the family staying in Wilmington, and hopefully towards a new family car. Thank you.
