Dear family and friends,

**The Memorial Service recording is available at this link.

We are saddened to share the heartbreaking news of Andrew's death. Andrew leaves behind his wife, Julia, and their six children. This page is to ask for your help.

Andrew and Julia, along with their children, have been dedicated to serving their community and the world for the gospel. As a family that desires to care for the least of these they have adopted 2 special needs boys, fostered infants in their home, and are awaiting a court date to adopt the baby currently in their care. While active in serving their local church, they have also helped Middle Eastern refugees get established while awaiting government assistance. Julia serves with an international ministry caring for medical and basic life needs of individuals in Cambodia, Uganda and Guatamala.

*We ask first and foremost for your prayers. Please pray for their comfort at this most difficult time and for God to care for their every need.

*UPDATE (May 11)! Once again we reached our goal of $35,000! What a blessing you have been to Julia and her children! Thank you. We will continue to raise funds for childcare and school expenses which will increase as Julia returns to work full-time.

*With profound gratitude and encouraged hearts, we THANK YOU for your generosity. All funeral expenses have been covered, AND we have now paid off the loan on their car. We will continue to raise funds to cover school expenses (mainly co-op tuition and books) for the kids for the 2024-25 school year. It is about $5,000.

*A Memorial Fund has been created for the family's ongoing expenses and future education/college expenses for the Bennett children (this account has no administration fees). If you would like to contribute, please connect with Julia's father at dougjones4him {at} gmail.

*In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Love Without Boundaries, a mission organization dear to the Bennett's heart. Any donation in Andrew’s honor will be designated towards the Tob’Anik Believe In Me Center in Guatemala.

*Lowe's gift cards are appreciated to complete the backyard garden Andrew was building with the kids. HEB gift cards for groceries would be a blessing too.

A note from Julia:
On April 20, 2024, God called Andrew Bennett home to heaven peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep from an apparent heart attack. Our hearts are broken, and we grieve but not without hope. Andrew led his family so well with his quiet, solid, compassionate strength. He shepherded our family in God's Word daily and besides that, his favorite way to spend his time was sharing the gospel with children, as he himself became a Christ follower as a child. It is hard to imagine how God's work on earth for his diligent servant Andrew could be complete, yet we trust that somehow through this it will cause our light for Christ to shine even brighter and bring greater glory to our precious Lord and Savior. We appreciate your prayers.
