Logan Potts Education Fund

On Sunday we all woke to the news of the passing of one of the greatest souls to grace this earth. Eric Potts, age 38, of Newark, Delaware, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, February 8, 2015. He was a loving man who cherished his wife, Erika, and son, Logan. His friends and family knew that they could always rely on him for his advice, wisdom, and especially his humor. He enjoyed all kinds of music, was a fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, and enjoyed watching Logan play for the University of Delaware Junior Blue Hens. He also loved Lacrosse and coached the Silverbacks youth team. He loved to travel, spend lots of time with family and friends, was a beer and wine connoisseur.

As many know, Eric became a quadriplegic after a collision in a recreational lacrosse game in his early 20's. He overcame so much adversity and became a voice of inspiration for so many. He married the love of his life, Erika, and felt he had hit the jackpot. He had. Her love for him was immeasurable, and together they built a wonderful life. Logan was the icing on the cake. He was Eric's greatest accomplishment, and his pride as a father was apparent to anyone who knew him.

The loss of Eric is a shock, and thousands of hearts are breaking for the Potts family. Education is something that was extremely important to both Eric and Erika.
