Bridgewater Farm Relief Fund
The storms Tuesday evening (6/7) completely devastated our farm in ways we never imagined possible. With large hail and high winds for over 10 minutes, all plants outside were stripped to ground level. All of our hard work this season and from past seasons was destroyed in seconds.
Many of our greenhouses took damage with dents and holes in polycarbonate and plastic.
So devastating we can barely provide for our csa and we will have next to nothing to bring to the community farmers markets.
Dale is too proud to ask for hand outs so we have never done a fundraiser.
This is so bad that we have no choice but to ask the community for help as we face a long road ahead.
We are trying to find more transplants, to plant seeds and to pick up the pieces of what is left behind from what was to be an abundant harvest. We had invested much time, resources and energy into this year.
We hope to continue forward serving the community with healthy foods.
I know we are not alone in these difficult times, prayers to all those affected. Much thanks and gratitude for all help whether it be a donation, volunteering, a prayer or a big hug.
We are stronger together!
