Hello. My name is Tim Danser, and I have been friends with Paige Davis for 20 years. We met at JCPenney and became instant friends. We followed each other’s careers from Dallas to Chicago, to Manhattan. We enjoyed life to its fullest.

 

Four years ago, Paige started her battle with ovarian cancer while also battling Multiple Sclerosis. Despite excellent medical care and prayers from friends and family worldwide, the doctors said she couldn't survive what her body is currently being put through. The family decided the best course of action was to bring her home to Ohio and comfortable in hospice care.

 

As I sat with Paige this week, she told me all she needed was her comfort and memories in her head to keep her happy. I want to tell another story in her book of life.

 

Paige has always lived a life with a purpose and wanted to continue her pursuit. As Paige left Tampa for Ohio, she donated her household and clothing to non-profits such as a halfway house that will help 11 men transition from addiction to recovery and Dress for Success. Hence, other women can enter the workforce and use their strength and intelligence as Paige has. A legacy for hope for others that would warm any heart.

 

Unfortunately, the US Healthcare System is riddled with defects. Paige’s insurance did not transition from Florida to Ohio. Paige and her family will now face a new battle….how to pay for hospital care, hospice care, and final expenses.
