Help Lisa Fight Breast Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Jules, and I am reaching out for support to raise funds for my cousin Lisa, who has just been diagnosed with advanced triple negative stage 3C breast cancer.
I won’t sugarcoat it. Lisa has a long road to recovery, but she is too humble and reticent to tell you this. She is overwhelmingly kind and positive, and she wouldn’t want anyone to feel pressure to help her. And that is because she is the best of us.
Lisa starts treatment next week, which will consist of 3+ hour round trip drives every week for chemotherapy. The closest cancer center is over an hour and a half away from her home in Ellensburg, and the cost of fuel alone is $100+ per trip. My hope is that we can raise enough money to help offset the cost of fuel and missed wages from the time off work her husband Kaylen will need to help care for their boys on the days she has treatment.
Lisa’s treatment plan has her going through six long months of chemotherapy before she will undergo a mastectomy and radiation. And if you know Lisa, then I am sure you can imagine the strength and positivity she has shown since her diagnosis. Even now, she is a ray of sunshine who doesn’t want people to worry over her.
But the truth is that there will be many tough days ahead for her and everyone who loves her. The truth is that her cancer is advanced, and it has spread into her lymph nodes, and she needs every possible advantage that we can give her over these next 6+ months.
Whatever amount you can donate, I hope you will be apart of her fight for recovery. Not just for Lisa, but for Jade, and for Jarrod, and for Jamie, the three little boys who are counting on us to pull through for their mama.
