Help Me Turn My First Apartment Into a Home!

I still can’t believe I get to say this—I have my own apartment!

After years of homelessness, instability, and uncertainty, I finally have a place that is mine. A door that locks. A roof that’s safe. A space where I can breathe, rest, and start rebuilding my life. This moment means everything to me.

While I’m beyond grateful to be housed, I’m starting completely from scratch. My apartment is mostly empty, and I don’t yet have the basic things that make a place feel like a home—like a bed to sleep in, cookware to prepare meals, or cleaning supplies to take care of my space.

I’m so excited about this new chapter, and I’m asking for help to make it livable and stable. Funds raised will go toward:

A bed and basic furniture

Kitchen essentials so I can cook for myself

Cleaning and household supplies

Everyday items needed to fully settle in

Having these essentials will help me sleep better, eat better, and focus on continuing to move forward after a very long and difficult journey.
