Emergency Support for David Woods
Spende geschützt
Men,
I'm not gonna sit here and waste your time with a sob story. Ranger David Woods needs our help. Our brother has fallen on hard times and it's our job to pick him up and get him back in the fight.
For those of you who know Ranger Woods, you know him as a stand up guy who served his country with honor. For those of you that don't, he was a 3/75 MTR Team Leader who embodied the Creed daily.
I reached out to him yesterday after seeing a disturbing post on his Facebook page saying "life is too hard to deal with". He explained to me that while going through a grueling separation, he was unemployed for months on end. He's started to get back in the saddle by picking up a job in the Oklahoma prison system very recently, but he's up to his eyeballs in debt and can't afford to pay his bills.
This wasn't a personal message, it was a public cry for help. I can't say for sure what his intentions are but I sure am not about to leave it up for interpretation. Our community has lost too many to this pandemic and I'm not risking it. Money should be the least of our problems. Let's help the man pay his bills and give him a financial cushion to get back on his feet. I'll be the first one through the door.
