My cousin was kidnapped, tortured and sexually assaulted in Omaha, NE in mid-January. She did not know the perpetrators and only came into contact with them because a mutual friend brought them to her house. They came back later while she was home alone, ransacked her house and made her get in the car.

She was held for approximately 8 hours and was tortured and sexually assaulted. She would probably be dead if her boyfriend hadn't convinced the police that she had not left of her own accord (they said they had to wait 24 hours before they could do anything) and to have them help him look for her. Thank God they found her.

She was taken to the hospital and was treated and released. She will have to continue to have medical appointments and possibly have her teeth and jaw looked at. She is such a strong individual and would never ask for help for herself.

I'd like to raise money to cover her medical expenses, counseling if needed (I've found some possible free services for her), and to cover immediate bills so she can relax and recover.

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
