Fundraiser for our beloved M & M


As many of you know our ASM and Eagle Mentor Marry Margaret Pete, known to all as M & M has an aggressive form of breast cancer.  To all who know her, we know she has a fighting attitude and has already begun fighting this disease.  She has begun Chemo and will be undergoing multiple rounds and a surgery to follow.   This may force her to take some extended time off of work, as a realtor she is self employed and has no disability income.  As always she has a positive attitude and remains in good spirits.  She wants us all to know that failure is not an option!  


We in the scouting community are lucky to have M & M.  She has guided and mentored  countless boys toward the rank of Eagle.  Her love and dedication to Scouting is evident in her daily life.  She herself lives by the Scout Oath, and Law.  She has so many mentor pins that her shirt is pulled to one side by the weight.  

 

At this time I am calling on our scouting community to rally behind her and help her.  Please help us do something for this amazing woman.  She has given countless hours and support to so many in scouting, this is our opportunity to give back and support her.
