Hello friends, allies, creatures, and foes who have done me wrong and are vying for forgiveness via a monetary donation - my name is M Stranski and I’m a costume artisan living in Boston, MA.
For as long back as I can remember, I’ve struggled with chronic pain caused by endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and cervical dysplasia, to name just a few. All of these conditions have caused me years of pain, periods (literally) of disability, and two previous debilitating surgeries.
The solution for these chronic conditions is a total hysterectomy.
Some might say I'm cancelling my monthly subscription, yeeting the uterus, becoming feral and sterile. I can keep going...
Also, this particular procedure will alleviate a substantial component of my gender dysphoria, which is something I’ve become more and more intensely aware of these last few years.
We love a two for one special, do we not?
All of this has become nearly unbearable in my daily life. It’s not a whole lot of fun, y'know? I’d love to feel ‘normal’ again.
And finally, after years of discomfort, I’m having a hysterectomy that will eliminate all of that on March 31, 2025.
Your contribution to this campaign will help me cover groceries during my recovery, pay for the portion of my procedure and hospital stay that insurance won't cover, and cover missed wages due to downtime.
If you can, please consider a donation. Your monetary help is so very much appreciated. If you can’t, that's okay! Perhaps share this GoFundMe; the more eyes that see it, the better!
Thank you so much for your time. I look forward to introducing all of you to a happier, healthier version of M as soon as I can!
Post-OP Update: Well, I survived! My uterus, however, has been laid to rest. It has officially been evicted, and I’m happy to report that I am now 100% womb-free.
Surgery went well, and I’m currently recovering in a haze of pain meds, naps, and an excessive amount of snacks and tea. I’m starting to walk around a bit too. I may look like a stiff robot, but at least I’m upright!
Big thanks to my medical team for their excellent organ-removal skills, and gender affirming care. And a thank you to my loved ones for keeping me entertained while I recover. If anyone needs me, I’ll be on the couch.
Cheers to a uterus-free existence!
