At this time, Rod’s prognosis is unknown, but he has many difficult months of treatment ahead of him. As a devoted husband to Barb, father to five children and grandfather to five, Rod faces many upcoming challenges as he fights to KICK CANCER’S BUTT!
Last week, Rod received 30 radiation treatments over a five-day period. He will meet with his surgeon and chemotherapy doctor on Tuesday, February 10to determine a plan of action.
Rod will undergo surgery to try to eliminate as much of the cancer as possible and to have a port placed in his chest for chemo treatments that will follow.
Rod has always been a hard-working individual who has always made it a priority to provide for his family. However, due to his recent diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing doctor visits, he is unable to do so because he cannot work and doesn’t have disability insurance.
I’ve established this page so that people, near and far, who wish to support Rod and his family, can do so through their prayers, by helping to pay for travel and medical expenses, and offering any other assistance to help Rod and his family, as they pursue viable treatment options.
Let’s show Rod, Barb, and their family how much they are loved and how much support there is for them. A donation of any amount will help Rod fight to maintain his level of functioning and the ability to be there for his family.
On behalf of Rod and his family, thank you for any assistance you are able to provide.
