Hi, Lytton area resident Hugh Poole lost his home June 19, 2026 to the Saw Creek Wildfire.

Hugh lives on the mountainside just above where the fire began. He received a call telling him to get off the mountain NOW early Friday evening. He immediately jumped in his car and headed down i to the Village. Hugh who is a retired 76year old man, escaped the fire shirtless, and without his wallet or identification.

He no longer has a home to return to. Nothing was left standing.

My name is Don Glasgow, I am a lifelong Lytton Area resident who lost my home in the 2021 Lytton Creek Wildfire. I am asking if you will please join me in helping Hugh get back on his feet.
