Lyss’s Bronco Memorial Restoration
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I’m Mason Richards. I’m here to raise money to fully frame off restore my late wife Alyssa’s bronco that I bought for her a few years back.
A good amount of rust and a lot of parts are in need of attention and replacing. I’m not one to half do anything and it definitely won’t be this project so that’s why I will be doing a frame off restoration.
She passed away 5 days before her 25th birthday due to mental health. Any and all funds if any left over will be donated 100% to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Buying Lyss's bronco was one of the easiest decisions in my life.
Walking into the shop at our family friend's birthday party, there sat the bronco off to the side. With nothing but a soft pull on my forearm from her cute tiny hand Lyss said, "Mase, I want that." With one of the biggest smiles she ever had, the deal was made within a few minutes.
We ended up driving it up the farm lane back up to the house with my dad saying to everyone that was outside, "I bet they bought it." And sure enough, he was right.
Ever since the day we bought the bronco, I couldn't get her out of the garage. Teaching her how to replace parts and do the routine maintenance it needed as we drove it around town to get ice cream and trips to the sands of Assateague Island. She picked out the tan beads with the turquoise strands with the Lulu wave air freshener for her car that now hangs on the rear view mirror of the bronco alona with one of her necklaces she always used to wear. I intend to fully frame-off restore her bronco one dav and hopefully with the help of everyone, that can happen sooner than later. Don’t ask if it’s for sale because this is something I will never put a price tag on. Thank you so much everyone for the support! God bless!
