Lysander's Top Surgery and Recovery

Hello all! My name is Lysander, I am a trans man, father, and husband, hoping for help in my medical journey

A bit about me:

I am the father of a wonderful baby, and husband to my best friend since December of 2022. He has had my back and supported me on my journey since day one of our relationship.

Transition Journey

I first came out to my friends and support system in 2017, and since then I have taken every step I possibly could to connect my gender expression to my physical appearance, a large part of this is being able to undergo top surgery.

Top Surgery

I will be undergoing top surgery in March. As a result I will be out of work for recovery time for 3 weeks if not more, and my husband will have to take unpaid time off to assist with my recovery and be primary caretaker of our child for a week if not more.

I'm asking for assistance during this exciting although difficult time with my hospital stay and bill, rent and utility payments, and general life expenses for myself, my husband and our child.

Below I have a rough breakdown of each expense. I thank each and every person for assisting with this.

Hospital Bill/Copay: $5,341.15

Mortgage : $1,612

Utilities: $300-$500 total

Groceries & Baby expenses: $400

Unexpected expense buffer: $145ish

My goal is ultimately to cover my hospital bill, though having everything else covered would ease the strain on my family.
