Hi, my name is Sonata. My Sister Lyric has a Chiari Malformation that she has been suffering with for several years. This disorder causes the lower part of the brain to press on and through and opening in the base of the skull and cerebellum into the spinal canal. It has caused Lyric a lot of pain and discomfort and affects her balance. She is a licensed CNA and has been unable to work for some time now.

Her struggle continues and she needs radiation to keep the chiari malformation from growing. Before she can receive her radiation treatments, she will need 3 root canals that insurance will not cover. She spends hours on the phone with Doctor’s offices, as well as advocating for herself to receive the services available to help her, but they don’t cover everything.

Many of her friends and family have helped her on a previous Go Fund Me set up by a good friend of Lyric’s. The financial burden that this disorder has caused, continues to affect my sweet sister. Thank you for your help!
