It is with mixed feelings to announce the birth of an extended family member and a tragic loss of another.
On Friday, May 27, 2016, Lynn and Eric Welker gave birth to their third child, Savannah Angel Welker, by C-section.
Due to complications, Lynn passed away after the delivery.
Lynn never got to see Savannah.
Additionally, Savannah was diagnosed with a heart condition that will require a lifetime of surgical procedures. The first heart surgery was to be scheduled within the first week of birth.
For those of you who never had the pleasure of meeting both Eric and Lynn, they are one of the most compationate and caring people. Eric is currently a teacher and works for Resource Area For Teaching (RAFT) and genuinely cares for the way children learn, which is best though hands-on teaching.
Lynn worked with young preschool children at a childhood education center. Lynn absolutely loved children. Lynn loved planning out birthday parties for her children that were always filled with creative art projects. Her creativity was limitless.
At this time, Eric and the two oldest kids need your help. We are hoping to raise enough money to cover the cost of Lynn's funeral and to support Savannah's medical expenses and educational future.
Teaching is a humble profession and most will not ask for much. Eric and Lynn are dedicated teachers and committed to educating our future generation. They commited their lives to help others...
...and now they need our help.
