Lynn's Fundraiser in Memory of Olivia Pollock

Lynn Flaisher Pollock is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Independent Labrador Retriever Rescue of Southern California.

Over 11 years ago, my family had the blessing of rescuing our beloved Labrador retriever, Olivia Hope Karma Pollock, from Indilabrescue (ILRR).

When we picked up Olivia from her ILRR foster home, she had just recovered from pneumonia and emaciation. Olivia had been saved from a high kill shelter by ILRR where she was in imminent danger - very sick and scheduled for euthanasia. ILRR scooped in to save Olivia's life releasing her from the shelter and getting her the urgent medical care she needed.

Olivia arrived at our home, still skinny, very subdued, not knowing what a toy or bone was, not knowing how to retrieve, but with a gracious, delightful presence.

Olivia quickly grew into the most beautiful, kind, giving, brilliant, tenacious, amazing furry friend imaginable...

Olivia filled our home with her exquisite soul and boundless love.

Each day she gave each of us and every thing her very best, until the day it was time for her to let go.

We said goodbye to our best friend on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, with broken but full hearts.
