Lynnette Jackson Medical Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Tiffani Hendrix and I am a good friend of Lynnette's. Lynnette is a one-of-a-kind human being. She is everyone's biggest cheerleader, motivator, and her kindness is unmatched. She radiates love and goodness. You can't help but feel loved and worthy around her. She would give anyone the shirt off her back if they needed it. I am here to lead the troops to help her get the help she and her family needs because she will not ask for it herself.

Lynnette was diagnosed with tonsil cancer in April of 2022. The cancer spread to the lymph node in her neck. A tonsillectomy was performed in May to remove the primary cancer located in the right tonsil. She has started an aggressive treatment regiment that consists of 35 radiation treatments and seven chemo treatments. To help her get the proper nutrition she needs since she has difficulty swallowing, a procedure was done to provide her with a feeding tube (a peg tube).

In June, she had a major bowel obstruction due to the improperly placed peg tube. She spent 7 days in the hospital which briefly postponed treatment. A wound vac was placed to prevent infection from the peg tube. She has home health care three days a week for tube feeding to maintain her nutrition. If all continues to go well from here and no issues arise, treatment will be done August 3rd.

All who know Lynnette LOVE her. She is a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day and the light in her family's eyes. She needs our help to relieve the financial burden this illness has put on her family. Being the caring person she is, she worries about her partner, Mike, having the burden of caring for her and all of the finances. Let's help them focus on her treatment and getting better, not on the medical bills coming. Her journey is not over, the good Lord is not done using her.
