Lynne’s Marathon

I’m running the Great North Run this year but I’ve not been raising money ahead of this as I’ve signed up to run the Edinburgh Marathon.

I’ve decided to raise money for running this race instead for Gateshead Artistic Swim club. I’ve begged for money before for the club but as most will know Armela swims for this club.

At the moment they are raising money for new costumes for their Free Team for National Championships. Artistic swimming is often described as like running a marathon while holding your breath so it seems right that when running my first and last marathon I try to raise some money for armela and her team so when they run their marathon while holding their breath they can look like dazzling swans in their new costumes.
