Hello, My name is Tammy.

It is my hope as a community of Friends, Family and Caring Humans we can assist my beautiful courageous cousin Lynne.

Lynne has struggled for a number of years with addiction. For anyone that has the pleasure of knowing her, you can attest to the fact she is a warrior. To know her is to love her.

i have watched her first hand fight these demons that are holding her back from the wellness and peace she deserves. And while getting clean seems to be simple to some, it is not.

Lynne has taken a very big step by admitting herself to the Victoria Wellness Treatment Centre, a residential facility located on the south shore of beautiful Rice Lake, Ontario.

She’s truly enjoying the centre and all of the benefits it has to offer, however the costs are very high. They have blessed her with heartfelt accommodation's, however she is still looking at about $1000 per week. Lynne knows she is not ready to leave.

Lynne and I have had many chats about her wellness, her health and her future. Watching a loved one be consumed by addiction is not new to me, and this is why I ask for your help. With addiction comes addressing your mental health as well, and these are all parts to her puzzle we can help with.

I am asking from the bottom of my heart for help in any denomination. Lynne deserves to beat addiction and find a life of sobriety and peace.

I thank you in advance for even just sharing this, to bring awareness. Getting well in Canada comes at a very high cost. Bridging this gap to freedom and wellness should not be justified by finances, however it is. The fight for life before and after addiction is serious and she needs our help.

Lynne is daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin and a friend. I won’t allow addiction to define her.
