Lynne Needs Your Help with Medical Costs

Hi all! This is Lisa Reed Bailey, and this is my beautiful little sister, Lynne Reed Thomas. As you look at her gorgeous face, you would never suspect that she isn’t in perfect health. However, since 2010, she has developed a variety of health problems starting with Sarcoidosis, which attacked her eye (optic nerve) and caused her to lose half her vision in one eye. It has since spread to her lungs and heart, and she has had to have monthly infusions to counteract the sarcoid and its effects. She has also been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease (a thyroid disorder), and most recently developed adult scoliosis of her spine. She had a huge S curve in her back, and there was no cure other than back surgery to correct it. Then she developed a severe infection, for which she was hospitalized, and also had a protrusion around the C6 spinal area.

She has enormous copays for the monthly IV injections, medical bills, medications, transportation to appointments, etc.

So, I’m trying to raise funds to help her pay these bills. She has no health insurance other than COBRA on her former husband’s insurance.
