Lynne was born on September 9th, 1992. She unintentionally left those of us who love her on February 21st, 2024.
From the time I first met Lynne, I was very aware of the joy she had for life. I came to know a woman who longed for the love of family. She hoped to marry and have her own family of four children.
She was looking forward to completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and entering societal service as a BSN RN specializing in neonatal intensive care nursing.
She loved children, walks through nature, studying pharmacology, anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and anything related to nursing. She loved cooking holiday meals and creating homemade holiday cards for loved ones.
She was getting into creating candles and jewelry of her design. She was developing plans to turn candle and jewelry making into a business while working on her nursing degree. She liked fruit, Skittles, Bagel Bites, and DiGiorno Rising Crust Pizza (pepperoni or deluxe) but didn’t like the cheese so she saved it for me.
She loved little animals, especially cats. She turned my cat from its antisocial habits to a member of the family fully engaged in human interactions.
Lynne was coming to know that God loved her even in the challenges of her life. She enjoyed worship at Rock Ministries, where she would sing, and sway in the songs of praise. She would always submit a prayer card requesting prayers for her healing.
She was determined to find healing and fought hard with a very real plan. If plan ‘A’ for healing didn’t work, there was always plan ‘B’. Before her battle was over, she had run through her alphabet of plans. She ran harder than anyone I’ve ever met in her quest for a renewed life.
In the end, her healing came when she unexpectedly and unintentionally departed this world for her Heavenly Home. I will miss her forever. I thank God that I had the privilege of knowing this woman who dreamed big dreams, fought the biggest of fights against such a powerful enemy, and never gave up until her body and not her determination said “Enough is enough.”
Lynne was an inspirational human being made in the image of God. She was and will forever be worthy of the highest dignity and honor and respect and love. I will love her and I will miss her as will her actual loved ones forever.
This GoFundMe is to cover the outstanding expenses from the funeral home. Any additional funds raised by this GoFundMe will be applied to ministry efforts that Lynne loved - outreach to her friends who are still suffering as did she.
Thank you for prayerfully considering financially supporting Lynne and her family at this sad time.
Sincerely,
Chris B.
