As we all know, Lynne was diagnosed with AML Leukemia in December.
In June, she went back to Maine Med for intense Chemotherapy; despite some hair loss, she's in good spirits and is in remission from cancer. She is currently struggling with Red blood cell and Platelet counts. Once she is at a satisfactory level, she will be released from Maine Med.
Her next journey will be on the road to Boston for a bone marrow transplant. Tufts has her on their list and is searching for her bone marrow donor. Once she gets the call, she will be in Boston for about eight weeks for the transplant and recovery.
All we want is for her to get better and healthy again. However, this is all very taxing on her and her finances.
If you would like to help by donating to relieve some of her current medical and other billing expenses, as well as gas, food and hotel costs for her support people while they are in Boston aiding in her recovery, donations will be collected through August via this GoFundMe campaign.
We are not letting Lynne know that we are conducting this campaign and will not reveal the list of contributors.
