Lynn Needs Support After Jerry's Tragic Loss

Jerry Piro passed away, Wednesday, April 9th, 2025

While taken out the garbages in a rain storm, Jerry failed to return home. His wife, Lynn Piro, found Jerry face down on the street, simi-unconscious and severely bleeding from his nose.

Doctors discovered that Jerry had a 3mm brain bleed with little cognitive function, attributed to his worsening dementia. Jerry was transferred to Blue Water Hospice Home, but he shockingly passed away 12 hours after he was admitted.

Lynn and Jerry were married on November 8th, 1993, but had been together for 46 years. In heath and sickness they took care of each other through their inner strength, unwavering love and devotion to God.

No longer able to drive, Jerry religiously watched Mass every Sunday morning on TV. He was extraordinary kind to everyone he met and loved to make people laugh. Every room Jerry walked into he filled with happiness and his fun-loving personality.

Jerry donated his body to the University of Michigan Medical School. The unforeseen transfer fees and unexpected medical costs have lead to financial strain.
