This past fall, our coworker and dear friend, Lynn, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Lynn has undergone surgery to remove tumors from her spine and correct back fractures and has gone through 4 rounds of chemotherapy and targeted radiation. In May, after completing treatments, scans revealed that progress was not going in the direction we had all prayed for, and more tumors appeared on her spine, which caused additional fractures. Scans also showed new lesions on both of her femurs, resulting in emergency surgery to prevent spontaneous breakage. Lynn has since then undergone other radiation treatments and started a new version of chemotherapy. This chemo treatment has caused her to become severely anemic, and is also currently dealing with fluid in her lungs. With all Lynn has endured, she still presents with a positive attitude and spirit and has every intention of beating this!

Lynn is being cared for by her husband, Scott, her mother, Carol and her daughter, Lea. We would love to support them through this challenging time as Lynn has been out of work since November and medical bills continue to pile up with no end in sight.
