Lynn was a passionate breast cancer awareness advocate that, through voluntarism, directly supported the Iowa Army of Pink's five-year campaign to enact Patty's Law, which was signed into law by the Iowa Legislature in 2017. Patty's Law requires mammogram screening providers to inform women if dense breast tissue is detected, and to share additional screening options. Those options, including ultrasound scans, result in higher rates of early breast cancer detection, and ultimately save lives.
