Lynn and her family need our help.

Hi, my name is Simone, and my friends and I are raising funds for our dear friend Lynn and her family. Lynn is truly an amazing woman. As a registered nurse, Lynn has dedicated her life to helping and caring for others. Lynn is a selfless and loving colleague, friend, sister, wife and mother. Lynn developed a blood cancer after contracting Covid at the end of this past year. After several rounds of chemotherapy, it has been determined that she needs a bone marrow/stem cell transplant. There are no suitable matches within her immediate local family, nor in the national bone marrow registry. Her brother is a perfect match... however, he resides in the Philippines. For some reason, the U.S. Embassy denied him the emergency medical VISA required for him to come here to donate. Lynn's family has hired an attorney and is attempting to appeal that decision - but this process is long and time-consuming. Time is something Lynn does not have. The National Marrow and Donor program is working with City of Hope to arrange for her brother's marrow/cells to be collected and couriered to the U.S. Taiwan, Singapore, and Korea will only collect from their residents. They are currently making arrangements to get him to South Africa, where his cells can be collected and then sent here for transplant.

Travel expenses, attorney's fees and countless other fees are adding up quickly. Please, if you can, help us save our friend.
