Today my heart hurts for one of the most selfless, kind, caring, and giving individuals I have had the privilege to know over the years. My name is Julian Miller and I met Lyn Martin in 2019 when starting a new position with a company in LA. My first time meeting Lyn was in a situation where I needed help. I didn't ask, it is just in her nature to solve problems for others. Lyn was many things to me during my time working with her, a mother, a friend, a rock, a trustworthy advisor, and so much more.
Lyn is resilient, hardworking, and strong. She often puts others before herself, going above and beyond to ensure the happiness, success, and comfort of others. Today I was devastated to hear that she has lost her home, and everything she owns. Lyn has worked harder than most people I know to provide a home for her children. The fact that everything she owns is gone, is beyond belief.
In an effort to help Lyn rebuild her life, seek some form of normalcy after the disaster, and repay her for the impact that she has made not only on me, but countless others, I decided to start this fundraiser. Please consider helping us reach our ambitious and optimistic goal, however you can.
With so much love,
Julian
