Lyn-Lake region business recovery fund
Tax deductible
To our neighbors, businesses, community, customers, and friends old and new,
We share your overwhelming grief over the murder of George Floyd and appreciate your outpouring of interest in making a difference. We encourage you to make a contribution to the George Floyd Family Fund.
Clearly, there is much work to be done in the days, weeks, and months ahead. The Lyndale , Whittier , Wedge , and South Uptown neighborhood groups in collaboration with Lyn Lake and Uptown Business Associations are joining efforts to honor Mr. Floyd's legacy, rebuild our community, heal wounds, and create a breadth of opportunities for all. Here’s what we are doing and how you can help.
We have started a fund to help local, small businesses rebuild in our community, concentrating our efforts on: locally-owned businesses west of 35W exclusively, with an emphasis on POC- and immigrant-owned businesses. We'll also provide support for businesses who are not eligible for other funds or grants.
We know there is much to do, but with your help we can begin the work to nurture, support and inspire. Please consider supporting our efforts by donating today and thank you!
The Lyndale Neighborhood Association is the fiscal sponsor this fund and your donations are tax-deductible.
