Lynette’s Legacy

My dear friend Lynette Knoflook Sykes is currently up against the largest battle she has ever had to endure. In Sept. of 2017 Lynette was diagnosed with Choloangiocarcinoma which after 3 biopsies determined it is a form of Bile Duct Liver Cancer. This type of Cancer is very rare as there are only 700 cases in Canada and 2500 in the USA. After receiving the devasting diagnosis Lynette began Chemotherapy in December of 2017 and is currently still undergoing these treatments.
For those of you who know the beautiful, talented and hard working Lynette then you also know how difficult it has been to battle this disease while working in an Account Management Position at the Marriott International in order to concentrate on her Cancer treatments, health and family.
Lynette has been married to Chris for 22 Years. Chris is a Sales Consultant at a Ford Dealership in St. Thomas, Ontario. Chris and Lynette have 2 sons Zachary and Brennan. Zachary is currently attending Queens University Majoring in History and Brennan will be attending Humber College in September Majoring in Film and Media Production.
Lynette unfortunately has a rough road ahead of her. If we all could alleviate some of the financial burden I know that this entire family would be forever grateful. Lynette would be the first person who would jump in to assist someone in need so why not stand together and support this amazing and beautiful woman and her family to show our love and support?
I am sure each and every one of us has been touched by Cancer at some point.
