Hello everyone. If you see this you know who I am. Floyd for those that don't.

We are never ready for death, and I can say I NEVER expected my Mother would pass away so suddenly. I wasn't ready.

She had some requests for her afterlife preparations. I would like to honor them.

My Mothers death occurred in the US. Since I've never had to arrange a funeral before ,I never knew about the hidden costs. It costs $6000 US for the Funeral home on the US side to receive her, house her, prepare her, coffin and shipping her to Canada. Once in Canada, it will cost ANOTHER $6000 for the funeral home on the Canadian side to receive her. Then there is an additional $10000+ for the burial.

While I do have some, doing this is really a financial strain on me right now. I do have some friends and family that will help me, but the arrangements have to be made sooner than later. So I reach out humbled to you all. No amount is a small amount. I just want to make sure I can give the woman that gave me birth the love and gratitude she deserves.
