Lynea's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Meet Lynea Rogers… she is 39 years old. She has 2 beautiful daughters, Alyssa and Aubree, and a caring husband, Jason, of 15 years. Lynea loves spending time with her family and is a devoted Christian. Lynea and Jason have a wonderful life full of love and devotion. Lynea enjoys watching the food network, going to eat at Mas Tacos, fresh juices from Gammons Market, the smell of a burning tobacco barn in the Fall, and worshipping God with her family. Lynea is a caring, beautiful soul who is selfless in giving to others, more than she has ever given to herself.

What you don’t see on the outside is that Lynea has been struggling with breast cancer since 2015 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer Her2- positive estrogen type. She went through all the treatments which caused her to lose all her hair, but she survived after a double mastectomy. She was in the clear until 2018 when the cancer returned and yet again after treatment she fought on. December 2020, she ended up in the ER with a collapsed lung and severe pain where they found out that the cancer had spread to multiple places in her body, it had metastasized. The doctors were not hopeful and told her all they could do was make her comfortable until the end. After a round of radiation and a whole lot of prayers, a miracle happened. The doctor said she had never seen anything like it, all of the cancer had disappeared, and it went dormant, giving her another chance yet again to surviving this heinous disease. Lynea has been on chemo pills since the beginning and fights every day with the strength knowing that she had a second chance at life with her family. And let’s not forget the unforgiving medical bills that have piled up since 2015 with severe treatments and daily expensive medicine that even under insurance coverage, still is a small fortune. In April 2025, she started having severe back pain and leg pain that was getting worse by the day, so she went in for a CT scan and found out that the breast cancer had metastasized yet again, in both hips and her left leg this time. Lynea now has lost about 70% of the control in her left leg and the pain levels are up and down daily; all while still holding down a job and taking care of her family. During Jason’s research about what to do next since they have tried everything for the past 10 years with traditional healthcare treatments, changing diet and eating clean, supplements, etc. You name it they have probably tried it and now they are desperate to find an alternative solution.

Looking for alternative medicine treatments since nothing has seemed to work for more than a few years Jason found a hopeful solution. Hope4Cancer treatment facility is what they are hoping for treatment to cure her so that she can live a good quality life. They practice holistic medical treatments, less invasive and have a high success rate. However, like anything it comes with a price and that cost is $60,000 for the treatment in Mexico. The family is finding out that financially they are not able to cover even half the treatment, resorting to all other options of coverage on top of accumulating medical bills from the past 10 years that would put anyone in debt.

The Rogers family are willing to try anything at this point to give Lynea a long and healthy life. Lynea is a fighter, with the strength that I have not seen before and carries a burden that is too much to handle on her own, that she did not deserve to be put on her shoulders in the first place. This world would not be as bright of a place without Lynea in it; anyone in her life will tell you that she is a blessing to know personally. Lynea is my family, she is one of my best friends, and she is a godsent in a time when I needed someone the most. I want to be there for her and her journey in beating breast cancer yet again. The family would appreciate any donation, even a few dollars to help them achieve their goal and send Lynea for treatment as soon as possible to heal her. If you cannot send money, just send prayers and thoughts their way and share this with others, as they go down yet another path in life that we know she can come out of with her strength intact. With the love of friends and family, support, and this treatment we are hopeful in giving her a better quality of life moving forward.
