Lyndsey Frank: Fighting Stage 4 Cancer

Donation protected
In 2022, our sweet & hilarious friend Lyndsey was diagnosed Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, which is not curable. They are dealing with unimaginable pain, side effects from ongoing treatment, and fighting the American Healthcare System all while continuing to follow their dreams and putting smiles on people’s faces.

Lyndsey is so important to not only the LA comedy community but also to so many of us, personally. This GoFundMe is vital to help them pay for the insane amount of medical bills & cost of living! The last gofundme has helped them with surgeries, treatments, and all their cancer needs for the last three years, but that money is gone! We love Lyndsey so much and want them to be able to live comfortably and pursue their dreams, all while dealing with stage 4 cancer!!
Here is a note from Lyndsey:

"Hiiiii. I’m living with Stage 4 breast cancer and receiving ongoing treatment that keeps me alive but comes with intense side effects. I get chemo every three weeks, monthly bone-strengthening and hormone-blocking injections, regular heart monitoring, frequent scans and lab work, and I take daily medication to suppress estrogen. Even with insurance, my out-of-pocket medical costs are insane hehe —including physical&mental therapies, medications, supplements, eastern medicine practices that aren’t covered. I think I’ve spent one million dollars on Claritin for bone pain and Epsom salts for infected toenails in the past 2 years alone. It’s all really fun. I can’t work full-time because of extreme fatigue, joint pain, intense muscle aches, neuropathy, chronic infections. I spend the energy I do have acting, performing improv and seeing friends because it energizes me, brings me joy and is my reason to keep fighting. (Keep booking me it keeps me alive!!!) Fun fact: most people don’t know I’m sick. Because I look really sexy? Anyway asking for help makes me want to barf but I love you all and want to keep making sillies with you here on earth for a long while.

The funds from the last GoFundMe made it possible for me to focus on healing without the added pressure of financial survival, and I’m deeply grateful. I’m now asking for continued support for my long-term maintenance treatment. I’m your most expensive friend but I’m kinda cool.

Over the last three years, that money has gone to Surgery and injury-related expenses, Insurance premiums, Anti-nausea meds and pain management, Medications for side effects (like acid reflux, anxiety, fatigue, etc.) Supplements recommended by oncology team, Mental health therapy, Physical therapy and bodywork, clothing and supplies for a whole new body, supplies to support immunity, Transportation to and from treatment, delivered meals during treatment days, help with bills while unable to work consistently. The monthly cost of living with this disease is ~$3,000/month, and that's just the medical stuff. It makes me wanna barf asking for so much help, but anything you can give is so so appreciated.
