In Memory of Lynda Devenport

Gregg, Jeff Reilly and I have worked with Lynda since 2017 when we were all at Dell EMC. She was one of the kindest people that I have ever met. She will be missed immensely. Her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson were the most important things in her life and we want to find a way to give back to them during this difficult time. All donations will go directly to them.

It’s with tremendous sadness that I’m sharing the passing of Lynda Devenport, my longtime Executive Assistant, after a brief illness.

Lynda began supporting me in 2017 when I joined the CPSD team at Dell EMC. She followed me to VMware in 2019 where she continued to support me for the last 4 plus years. She was one of the kindest and strongest people that I have ever met. She was a hard worker who was always willing to help anyone regardless of their role. She loved working with this team and will be greatly missed.

Outside of work, Lynda was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family and her faith were the two things that she valued the most. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they begin to navigate this difficult time.
