Lynda’s Fight Against Stage 4 Colon Cancer
Donation protected
In March 2022, Lynda went to the ER thinking she had appendicitis. She left being told it was a mass, and was soon diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She has fought hard, as tumors disappeared, and new tumors grew. Lynda has pushed through 30 rounds of chemo, each round lasting 3 days each. She has also had 9 rounds of HAI pump chemo, with each round lasting 14 days each. While battling cancer, she has not let the fight slow her down. As each new obstacle comes, she does whatever it takes to continue being the best version of herself, as a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, co-worker, and teacher.
She is now undergoing a 2nd surgery to remove her ovaries, and will likely have more surgeries to follow. What Lynda won’t tell you is that she will soon exhaust all of her paid leave due to medical appointments, scans, surgeries, and chemo treatments, etc. While she does not want to accept gift cards, meal trains, or really any help at all during this time… I have forced her to accept this donation on behalf of all of her friends and family who want to support her, and have felt hopeless in those efforts this last year+.
So to all of those who have been met with resistance when begging to help Lynda and her family in some way… please join us in this fundraiser to support Lynda’s fight against cancer!!!
