Anyone that knew our mom knew that her family and loved ones came first, but her love for Big Portage Lake and being at the cottage came next. Our Great-Great Grandfather built the first cabin on the lake, our Great Grandparents celebrated their honeymoon in that cabin, and starting when she was just 2-weeks old, our mom spent part of every summer of her life at the lake. To honor her amazing life, if you have the ability, please donate in her honor to help the lake association provide stewardship of her beloved Big Portage Lake in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
